Bicycle Repair Stations

Two new stations have been added. One at the WT Young Library and one at the Oswald Building on the campus of Bluegrass Community and Technical College.

In the spring and summer of 2012, with funding from the Bicycle Advisory Committee and the Student Sustainability Council, the University installed 4 free-standing Bicycle Repair Stations. The stations offer basic bike tools, an air pump and are available around the clock. Each station also includes a sign with links to additional resources and a step-by-step guide to repairing flat tires. The stations are funded by the UK Bicycle Advisory Committee

Each station includes:

• Phillips and flat head screwdrivers
• 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8mm Allen wrenches
• Headset wrench
• 8, 9, 10, 11mm box wrenches
• Pre-glued tube patches
• Tire levers and
• A manual air pump with psi gauge
