Ride the Legacy

1 p.m., Wildcat Wheels Bicycle Library

The Legacy Trail opened two years ago and has quickly become one of Lexington's crown jewels. The trail is a little more than 8 miles long and is dedicated to bikers, walkers, skaters, etc. The ride will begin at the Wildcat Wheels Bike Shop, and we will ride out and back on the trail. Total distance will be 18 miles and we will go at a pace that is comfortable for everyone. The ride will begin with a discussion of safe cycling techniques. If you want to ride just the trail, please meet us at the trailhead at the YMCA on Loudon Ave at 1:30 p.m. The entire ride will take less than 2 hours. For more information, contact James Baunach at james.baunach@uky.edu.
